Roger Hansen

Member of the Board, Expa Travel Nordic

Roger is the Member of the Board at Expa Travel Nordic (which is the parent company of Expa AS in Norway, Expa Rejser in Denmark and Exparesor in Sweden). He is also an assistant tour leader on many of Expa Travel’s tours.

Roger has a broad range of leadership experience in areas such as finance, administration, sales, market strategy and business development, as well as working on several boards. He sits on the board of a number of Scandinavian companies and his previous roles have included Sales and Marketing Director, Chief Executive, and CEO at Aller Media Norge.  

Over the years, Roger has been an active football player (Second Division) and an ice hockey player. During his time as an ice hockey player, he received a National Championship medal for junior players and he was also part of the national team.

He has also been the manager of a football club and has held positions (trainer/board member) in numerous clubs and organisations. Over the last few years, Roger has developed a passion for cycling, both on road and off, which he enjoys as a hobby. Furthermore, he has an appreciation for good experiences, exercise and food and drink, in the typical Expa Travel spirit.  

Roger is married to Trude, and has four children and three grandchildren.
